Yvonne, good point. I think that Step 9 should be the introductory email to the list that you’re asking to opt-in and then really step 10 is the cart/sell/fulfill, all of which are beyond the scope of this video and covered in my workshop in more detail. I’m going to fix that text in the video on this page and republish soon. [If anyone is reading this and does not understand Yvonne’s question, it will be because I’ve already fixed it by the time you read this! ]

John, Very good detail and sequence, so easy to understand. I was wondering if the No.9 on the board behind you which at 7:48 says Cart and you are speaking in the video at that point a bout sending out an email to introduce the free videos to the list. You did have Introduce on the video just before that though. Can you clarify. Thanks

Hello all, As I listen to the videos I use half my screen to listen and watch and on the other half I use a time management software and type in the steps in the order John has taught on to a To Do List for my project called Video Production. Really is working well for me. I love Mindmaps too but am finding this much faster for me.

John… I watched all 3 videos this morning. Really, really good stuff. The only suggestion I can even think of is that it would be nice to see the structures of the pages (opt-in, value 1, value 2, etc.) in some sort of flow chart during the video. This would mean cutting back and forth. But I also realize you’re going to include a flowchart (or map? you refer to a download) that you’ll be emailing out.

Alisa, you are quite welcome! You can continue to use the site that you have. My only recommendation would be that if you are constantly going to a “web guy” in order to add changes or an opt-in form etc., that you escape that prison by migrating to WordPress. Wix looks pretty cool but WordPress is the standard because it’s so powerful in terms of SEO among other amazing features. Migrating is not difficult or expensive. You CAN use OAP to host everything. I have not made a final decision on this yet but I’m pretty sure that I’m going to add Kajabi. When it comes to content delivery, I don’t want to mess around with all of the navigation issues of making pages in OAP and then linking them together and figuring out the membership structure of it all, even though it’s possible. Are you joining us on the workshop next week. I’ll be talking about all of this and deconstructing the options and combinations.

Similar to Pam, what I am struggling with is can I use and adapt the website I had made for me bya web designer a few years back or do I need to start again? I have been recommended wix.com for DIY template sites. Hard to find objective advice on this. Second question is do I need to use Kajavi to host product, or can OAP host everything? Alisa

Thanks, John. Another great, content-rich video. They’re so helpful. One thing I struggle with is making sense of all the tools – what to use for what. InfusionSoft, Kajabi, Office AutoPilot, aWeber, WordPress, iContact, my website (which was built using Go Daddy – need to change!). So many tools. Perhaps a visual process flow would help with the appropriate tool indicated – not the vendor name, but what the tool actually is (e.g., email list manager vs page creator). Just an idea. Perhaps someone has already published one.
